You deserve a break!!

You deserve a few hours to yourself without someone begging for your attention. You deserve to take a breather without having to do it in the bathroom. You deserve to get your hair and make-up done by professionals and to get dressed up for yourself without someone else’s event to attend.

I do not overly retouch my images!

I operate by the two-week rule meaning, I only touch up things that will be gone in two weeks or less. One annoying pimple? Gone. A scratch or bruise? No one will know! But I never remove wrinkles, cellulite, or stretch marks. And I never will. The point of an empowerment portrait is to learn to love the way your body looks AS IS. To appreciate it the way a renaissance painter would-through the female gaze.

I photograph through the Female Gaze

I photograph through the female gaze. This means I take note of the smallest things. Like, when you as a woman, watch a movie, like Pride and Prejudice, you noticed the way, Mr. Darcy takes Elizabeth‘s hand and helps her into the carriage. That’s the female gaze. And just as we all dreamed of being pinned after like Kate Winslet in the Titanic, we all likely haven’t felt that way in a long, long time. That’s where I come in. I will remind you that you deserve to be seen and loved that way.
